Call for Proposals - Children and Youth

August 27, 2010 20:26 by webmaster

The Ministry of Children and Youth Services has announced a call for proposals for research syntheses that capture up-to-date evidence from across disciplines and domains (e.g. social, emotional, cognitive, spiritual development, etc) to explain the developmental pathways of school-aged children, adolescents and young adults as they mature and transition to adulthood. This evidence will be mobilized within the child and youth service sector and the academic community to build a shared understanding of young people's development.  To this end, the results of this call will also support the ministry's development of a Youth Policy Framework, a commitment arising from the Review of the Roots of Youth Violence.

Feel free to circulate this call among colleagues who may be interested. Any questions should be directed to Laura Flynn-Northcote, Senior Policy Analyst at Laura.Flynn-Northcote@Ontario.ca or (416) 326-0856.
