Young Generation Technical and Leadership Conference
On January 7, 2010, Yongsub Eric Shin from KCLDC East Chapter and Stella Chun from KCLDC West Chapter flew to Washington D.C. to attend Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA)’s Young Generation Technical Leadership Conference (YGTLC) 2010 for 3 days. We would like to share their experience at YGTLC.
A brief background of YGTLC
"The Sixth Annual Young Generation Technical and Leadership Conference (YGTLC) hosted by the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) and the Korea-U.S. Science Cooperation Center (KUSCO) is the flagship event for Korean-American young professionals, graduate and undergraduate students. The three-day program includes talks on emerging technologies, speeches from distinguished industry and academic leaders, career development, networking, and leadership programs."

“It was my first time to attend YGTLC this year. I was fortunate to be one of the 10 Korean-Canadian participants, and it was an eye-opening experience for me. “This was my second time attending YGTLC. Like last year, it was the most unforgettable experience I could have had as Korean scientist living in North America. I had an opportunity to meet with various graduate students and young professionals who are in the same field as me, a networking experience that could not be obtained in Canada.
