Hosting Group Descriptions

1. Vancouver Korean Canadian Scholarship Foundation (VKCSF) – Student Society

VKCSF Student Society is a group of university students who either have received the scholarship or who joined the group through membership. The group is the official student body of VKCSF scholarship and operates under the support from VKCSF. The group aims to promote networking and building relationships amongst members. The group also intends to provide opportunities for its members to become well-rounded leaders of the society cultivating values including friendship, social responsibility and leadership. The group aims to give back to the Korean-Canadian community through volunteer or professional capacity; eventually the group intends to become constructive citizens of society promoting multi-culturalism.

2. Korean Canadian Leadership Development Committee (KCLDC) - Vancouver Chapter

Event Objectives

The two hosting groups inviteㅇ all Korean Canadian young professionals and post-secondary students to join the special social night in order to achieve the following objectives:

To promote the local network for young professionals
To foster mentorship between young professionals and post-secondary students
To increase the public awareness of the hosting groups in Vancouver
To recruit motivated candidates for the hosting groups
To raise funds for the hosting groups

주최 그룹 설명

1.밴쿠버 한인 장학재단 - 학생 사회

VKCSF한인 학생 사회는 장학금 수혜자 혹은 회원 가입을 통한 회원들로 구성된 학생 모임입니다. 본 모임은 한인장학회의 공식적인 학생 모임이며, 장학회의 지원 아래 운영됩니다. 본 모임은 회원들이 네트워킹을 통해 지속적인 정보교환과 교제의 시간을 가지는 것을 목표로 합니다. 또한 본 모임은 회원들에게 전인 양성을 위한 가치들을 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하여 회원들이 미래에 캐나다 사회를 이끌 수 있는 전인 지도자가 되는 것을 목표로 합니다. 본 모임은 사회 봉사 혹은 전문적인 역할을 통하여 한인 사회에 환원하는 것을 도모하고자 하며, 궁극적으로 다문화주의를 활성화시키는 건설적인 사회의 일원이 되는 것을 목표로 합니다.
